Dr Gupta is an experienced General Practitioner with over 20 years of clinical practice, including the past five years focused on skin cancer diagnosis and management. He holds a Master of Surgery from India and worked as a general surgeon for 13 years before relocating to Australia.

After transitioning to general practice, Dr Gupta completed Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). He also holds a Diploma in Child Health (DCH), a Diploma in Anaesthesia (DA), and a Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine.

Dr Gupta has advanced skills in dermatoscopy and dermatoscopic photography, performing comprehensive skin examinations using high-resolution dermatoscopes. He captures detailed macro and micro images to support accurate assessment and ongoing monitoring. Drawing on his surgical background, Dr Gupta is comfortable performing simple skin procedures in the clinic under local anaesthesia and regional blocks.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Gupta is actively involved in medical education. As a Senior Medical Educator, he trains junior doctors preparing for a career in general practice. He also contributes to international medical journals as both a writer and reviewer, and serves the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners as an Examiner and Quality Assessor.

Outside of medicine, Dr Gupta enjoys photography, trekking, bushwalking, and spending time with his family.
