Dr Maneesha Weerasena is an experienced and compassionate GP who has been caring for communities across Australia for more than a decade. Originally from Sri Lanka, she moved to Australia in 2011 and began her medical career at Campbelltown Hospital, where she gained valuable experience across a wide range of clinical areas.

For the past eight years, Dr Maneesha has been practising in rural Australia, providing patient-centred care to individuals and families. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, with special interests in women’s health, children’s health, chronic disease management, and geriatric medicine.

Outside of medicine, Dr Maneesha enjoys travelling, exploring new cultures, and reading. She is excited to return to the Campbelltown region to care for the community she knows well, and looks forward to building long-term relationships with local families.
